Around the Table
Another extra touch I love adding to a dinner party is a handwritten menu. It adds the sweetest personal touch. I like to make each menu a little different and if I am assigning seats, I will add a personal element for each individual.

My favorite part of styling a dinner party is looking through my decor collection to find the perfect pieces. And I always love adding to this collection (which is unfortunate because I don’t have room in my teeny apartment). I love looking for cozy and beautiful additions at thrift stores, curated vintage shops, boutiques while traveling, Target, & Magnolia.
I almost always pick up vintage candlestick holders and votives when I see them. It is so fun to mix and match on the table and place others around your home to add to the coziness.
Cloth napkins and pretty dishes also elevate the table. I have a great homemade cloth napkin no-sew tutorial — send me a message if you want it! And you can find a good selection of pretty dishes at local thrift stores, either to mix and match or to get a set.
